WHAT TO HAVE READY

Photo ID
A valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID — or a Military ID — is required for all rentals. This is needed at pickup or before delivery is scheduled.
Proof of Address
Current proof of address — a utility bill, lease, or official document with your name and address. Required for all rental agreements.
Major Credit Card
A major credit card is required for all rentals. Your card is not charged at the time of reservation — only when the rental period begins. No deposit on most equipment.
Job Site Details
The site address, access conditions, and what you need to accomplish. The more context you give us, the better we can match the right machine and plan delivery routing.
Trailer Info (if picking up)
If you're hauling equipment yourself, your trailer must be registered, pass current inspection, have electric trailer brakes, and provide 4 points of tie-down contact (5 for excavators).
Rental Dates
Daily, weekend, weekly, and monthly rates are all available. Have your start date and estimated duration ready — longer rentals get better rates and we can plan delivery accordingly.

Can I book equipment online without calling?
Yes. Our online booking system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at northpointrentals.com. Browse real-time inventory, select your location, choose dates, and reserve. No deposit is required at booking. If you have questions about which equipment is right for your project, call or email and we will help you choose before you reserve.
How do I arrange delivery?
Delivery can be scheduled when you book online or by calling your nearest location. Free delivery is available within 5 miles of any NorthPoint location. Beyond 5 miles, statewide delivery is available for a fee based on distance and equipment type — always quoted clearly before you confirm. When scheduling delivery, have your site address and any relevant access details ready, such as road conditions, gate codes, or driveway grade.
What if something goes wrong with the equipment during my rental?
Call the location your rental came from directly. Do not try to repair the equipment yourself. Our team will either troubleshoot by phone, dispatch a technician to your site, or arrange a replacement machine. You are not left without support. Store numbers are listed at the top of this page and on your rental agreement.
Do you offer contractor accounts or commercial pricing?
Yes. NorthPoint offers Charge Accounts for contractors and businesses — the Rent Now Pay Later program allows you to get equipment on site and pay on manageable terms. We also offer multi-machine and long-term rental pricing. Call any location or email [email protected] to discuss your project volume and set up an account.
How does the Best Price Guarantee work?
If you find a lower price on the same equipment from a local competitor in New Hampshire, bring us the quote and we will match it. This applies at all five NorthPoint locations. Call your nearest store with the competing quote and we will confirm the match before you reserve.
