Insurance Requirements

All customers are required to provide NorthPoint Equipment Rentals, LLC. with an Insurance Certificate for all equipment rentals. If not, then customer must purchase Rental Protection Plan ("RPP"). The RPP is NOT INSURANCE and does NOT protect Customer from liability to NorthPoint Equipment Rentals, LLC or others arising out of possession, control or use of the Equipment, including injury or damage to persons or property. THE RPP IS A CONTRACTUAL MODIFICATION OF CUSTOMER’S LIABILITY (see Terms and Conditions).

Please submit the following requirements to your insurance agency to prevent any delays and ensure adequate coverage:

Insured: The name listed as insured must match the name of the renter. If the insured is a company name, the renter must provide proof of ownership to use the company’s COI.

Coverage: The Certificate must indicate the coverage for General Liability and Inland Marine or Miscellaneous Rented Equipment covering Replacement Costs.

Commercial General Liability with minimum limits of $ 1,000,000 per occurrence, the required liability insurance shall include coverage for Lessee’s contractual liability.

• Workers’ Compensation with statutory limits and Employer’s Liability with a minimum

limit of $1,000,000. An umbrella/excess policy can be used to satisfy the above required limits.

• Property/Inland Marine or Miscellaneous Rented Equipment insurance with a minimum

limit equal to the full replacement value of the leased/rented equipment.

• If Lessee intends to cancel any of the required insurance policies, 30 days written notice

shall be delivered to NorthPoint Equipment Rentals, LLC.

Dates: Policy must be in effect for at least 2 days prior and 5 days after the rental scheduled

period.

Description: Certificate Holder is included as Loss Payee with regard to our interests in the

property coverage and additional insured on the General Liability regarding liability insurance.

Certificate Holder:

NorthPoint Equipment Rentals, LLC. MUST be named Additional Insured under General Liability. This endorsement

shall be provided on a primary and non-contributory basis.

NorthPoint Equipment Rentals, LLC. MUST be named as Loss Payee on the Property/Inland Marine Policy. Including

a Contractor Equipment Endorsement covering replacement of Rented/Leased Equipment for the value

of the leased/rented equipment.

We only accept a COI that is emailed direct from an insurance company or agent.
